Issues resolving Rails on Linux

Hello guys! I have some bad rep to make... No more than 2 days was necessary to fill up my patiente in Linux trying to install ruby and rails without using the apt-get. I've passed the first day using a outdated rails installed by apt-get and I've come to know that it's extremelly unconceivable to do that. The same guys recommended that I use bash commands on terminal to do the job without any problems. I've come to many problems concerning Linux and packages. I can't post the problems now because I forgot to take some screenshots. But as every programmer I thought that the problem was with me, I don't really care now that I'm just sad for not programming with rails all this time, so now I'm sadly installing rails on windows, I wont give up on Linux, just gonna learn rails on windows, nothing bad with that =). Soon I'll promisse to post some codes that I've learned. Well that's it!

Bye!

Rails Tutorial

Oh gosh, after some problems I'm finally back(2am). As I was searching through the internet I've found that no shortcuts are better than the main way. So I've gone directly to the rails main page and found a precise book about how is the development in rails since the basics, so I'll post the link here for further posts that I'll make about it.

Good Bye

Ruby in 15 minutes

Well... We can learn something without looking to the basics, but that's just wrong and don't give us real knowledge, so I've started looking for Ruby tuto's and I've found these very good! They are fast and easy even if you aren't experienced at programming. This is the link: http://tryruby.org/levels/4/challenges/1.

If you are experencied at other programming languages, I recommend you this part, it's so easy to refer when you compare to other languages (in my case java).

This is the link: http://www.ruby-lang.org/en/documentation/ruby-from-other-languages/

Well the trail keeps long. Soon I'll post my first web-app.
Thanks!

Welcoming

Hello World!
Well that's the first thing that we say when we start programming right? Now I say it again for the sake of my networking =). If you are like me an old programmer but trying sometimes new stuff this is the place for you. I for now am learning Ruby, and here I'll put some good stuff that I (google) found very likely expected for you my new programmer. Good luck!
